His Excellency is perfectly named as it bears pink flowers on globe shaped heads of start-shaped florets. Best results occur when planted in fertile, well drained soil. Plant bulbs in a sunny area alone in clumps, or with ornamental grasses, other alliums, or between perennials or shrubs. This will surely create a dramatic effect. This allium attracts butterflies and bees during flowering. Suitable for naturalising.
