Description

Corydalis cava, or hollow root, has dropping pinkish-purple tubular flowers and light green leaves. This plant is very hardy and can grow just about anywhere except where it is very wet.  It prefers full shade between trees, shrubs or woodlands but will also grow in sunny or partially shaded areas.  Corydalis cava is a favourite naturalizing bulb that will give full ground cover under the right conditions.  Bee friendly.
