Description
Aptly named, Fritillaria Twin Towers Tribute bears two flower spikes, rather than the normal one. This fririllaria produces dark red to dark purple nodding, bell-shaped flowers on tall stalks above wavy, blue green leaves. Each raceme can produce 10 to 30 or more florets giving a rich fullness to the bloom. The strong smell from the bulbs keeps mice and moles at bay. It is advisable to plant the bulb in a sunny area at a slight angle when planting to prevent water from accumulating in the bulb. Due to its height, plant solo or even better in a small groups as a focal point in borders, beds, gravel, gardens, between shrubs or in in containers.
