Description
Cheerfulness is a heirloom daffodil that offers creamy-white, late flowers with yellow specks and white centres which usually appear in clusters on top of the upright stems. The strongly scented flowers are fully double so look ruffled and are said to resemble carnations. Plant this daffodil in generous drifts through beds and borders, in pots, under trees or it can be used to naturalise in areas of taller grass verges, lawn edges, hedgerows or banks. Makes a beautiful, fragrant, long lasting fresh flower arrangment. Best planted in full sun but will tolerate light shade, in a moist but free-draining soil. Allow foliage to die down naturally as this ensures nourishment for the next seasons growth. This flower will certainly add cheer to any display.
