Description
A traditional cup-shaped, rich red flower, with darker red interior, on top of broad lance-shaped green leaves, Ile de France is a favourite mid-late spring bloom. Planted in masse it makes a fiery display or plant with contrasting colours to add depth and interest, such as Francoise or Paul Scherer for true drama. Thrives in a sunny, well-drained area in beds, borders, gardens or containers. Makes a classy cut flower.
