Description

National Velvet is a winner with single cup-shaped dark, velvety red petals on top tall stem in a bed of upright, lance-shaped, grey-green foliage. The rich red colour is great planted alone in drifts or make a dramatic scene by mizing with bold purples, yellows or oranges such as Paul Scherer, Jan van Nes or Request. This tulip will thrive when planted in a sunny, well-drained area. Excellent cut flower.
