Qatar begins with huge green flower buds whose double fringed flowers gradually unfold to release dark red blooms. This long lasting tulip will create quite a stir if planted solo in drifts or beds, borders, gardens, or even containers. Mixed up with Danceline or Bastia, it will be quite a display. Wonderful cut flower. Qatar flourishes when planted in sunny, well-drained areas.
